Jim Phillips Chef John Enright In Recognition This Book was inspired by my wife, Britt Meyer. Britt and photographer, Barbara Higgins, assembled ranch pictures and produced two family photo albums, one summer and one winter. Many people asked for copies. We decided to produce this book to share the beauty and the story of the ranch with our many friends and associates. Four photographers, all photo contest winners, contributed the professional quality images that make this book so special. They are: Alan Weiland, Image Magic ; Barbara Higgins, Barbara Higgins Photography ; John Hakola; and Lennie Phillips. Lennie won 25 photo contests in 2010. Her photographs were also selected as covers for two national magazines. Many others contributed pictures used in the book. A special thanks to each. Publishing and artistic direction were accomplished with the patience and many talents of Robert Hansen, www.Robert Hansen.com . Rene’ Nuttall’s project management and print selections were also major contributions. All photos were taken on the ranch and are copyrighted @ Meyer Company Ranch, 2011. Color management and print manufacturing by Dual Graphics Inc. – Brea California. Paper - 130# Topkote Gloss Cover and 80# Topkote Gloss Book. Our Chef and host for the ranch, John Enright, has a successful career in food service management and restaurant operations. He is a well-known chef and has contributed to the success of several national restaurant chains. When he is not busy at the ranch, John is a senior marketing executive of Meyer Natural Foods. Ranch Manager, Jim Phillips, has been a close friend and associate for more than 23 years. During this time he has been a major contributor to realizing the potential of the ranch and giving life to our dream – sustainable farming and a ranching plan for future generations of people and animals. As steward, he has tested our animal welfare protocols, patiently selected and proved our Angus genetic lines, encouraged the proliferation of our animal friends, and maintained the ranch environment we enjoy today.
