The red color gene makes it easy to detect any undesirable purity by a hide color not 100% red. We en- hanced the basic Angus qualities of tenderness, taste, inter-muscular marbling, and disposition with selective breeding. We actively use insemination and embryo transplants to produce a large number of animals for performance comparison.
