Special Attention is given to fire control, riparian areas, and wildlife habitat. Western forests have been going through a long period of drought and warmweather. Our ranch trees are now very dry and have lost much of their natural immunity to combat the present infiltration of Pine Beetles and Budworms. Many trees are being infected and killed. We are agressively harvesting the diseased trees to destroy the brood nests and contain the infestation. Mother Nature will eventually solve the problem with a long very cold and wet winter.
